"Hi, and welcome to Equestrians For Christ.com. This is quite simply a website where fellow riders who love the LORD JESUS CHRIST can come and fellowship together, as well as find out about Bible study groups in their area that are comprised of fellow horseback riders.
It is also a way for all of us who attend horse shows to be able to horse show and still have the opportunity to fellowship with other Christians. As a trainer who attends numerous horse shows during the season, I always feel a part of my week is missing if I can't get to church on a Sunday morning or a Wednesday evening because of horse showing. That's why I created this website, to establish a way for riders who love the LORD to be able to ride and show and still have a chance to praise the LORD and fellowship together while on the road at a horse show.
It is our goal to
create a place for all of us to come together and network with other riders
who
love the LORD!"
Horse Shows
We are looking for Christian riders who regularly attend horse shows who
want to volunteer to organize fellowship groups
at whichever horse shows you
attend. Your name and email address will be placed here for other
Christian riders to find out if one of the shows that they are planning on
attending will have other Christian riders there who would be willing to meet,
either on Wednesday's after the horse show is over or early Sunday mornings
before the show starts for some brief prayer and worship together.
All fellowship groups are non-denominational. You can be Catholic,
Presbyterian, Lutheran, Baptist, Pentecostal, even Jewish. It doesn't
matter. The only thing that
is required is that you believe that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of GOD and that you
love HIM with all of your heart, mind, soul and spirit.

Small Groups
If are interested in fellowshipping with
other riders in your area, join a Equestrian home group Whether you ride hunters
and jumpers, dressage, 3-day, intercollegiate or pleasure - whether you show every weekend
or ride in your backyard just for fun, we are all Brothers and Sisters in the LORD!

Needed
National Chairpersons to represent Dressage, Western, Vaulting,
Gaited (Morgans, Arabs, Saddlebreds), Reining
The job of a national chairperson is to serve as a liaison within that breed or discipline to help organize study groups from other parts of the country, as well as answer any questions that other riders from your area may have.

curiosity that you can't seem to shake,
then feel free to participate in one of the fellowship groups.
The following is a growing list of contact names of people in

and/or area of riding interest.
Feel free
to contact them to join a group, volunteer to lead a group
or to help get one started in
your area.
You do not need to have the same riding interest to participate in a
particular group
(i.e. a dressage person and hunter/jumper person can attend the same Bible study,
etc.).
It is all about praising the LORD together so choose one that is nearest where you live.

"Horses are my daily living proof that God is
awesome and provides joy for his children. No matter how long or hard of a
day I've had, I always have enough energy to go to the barn. Walking in,
smelling the smells, and seeing each head poke out of its stall to greet me,
accompanied by maybe a whinnie or two, makes all my stresses and anxieties
instantly dissolve. Horses are a blessing to me, and though horse shows can
defer me from my normal Sunday church time, I see the glory and greatness of
God in simple things like watching the horses school or the incredible feeling
of a nice ride on a good draw. The beauty and might of these animals never
ceases to put a smile on my face."
